Ringmasters is an association of men who train birds to sing in a particular way. They hold yearly singing competitions for their birds in the outskirts of Amsterdam.
The birds don’t sing like they do in their native country Suriname. -they have been trained to sing an ideal bird song; badly articulated sounds are removed, refining the syntax and improving the clarity of the message. The songs are recorded and edited, strictly guarded as the intellectual property of the bird owner.
